The Project

The project is to make a video book trailer to introduce the basic information and the synopsis to make viewers interested in reading the book.

The Book

The Alchemist is a novel by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho. The book tells a story of a young Andalusian shepherd who met an alchemist on his journey to the pyramids of Egypt after having a recurring dream of finding a treasure there.

Text tracing, 3D rotation, and burning effect were used to create the 3D burned text animation on sheepskin to match the story's atmosphere.
